The Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) will hold its next tournament this weekend at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club in the city’s heart.
According to the Future Falcons Par 3 calendar for the next few months, the event will be place on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
The Future Falcons initiative is an entry-level golf program for children that is now open to both UAE nationals and expats.
For both boys and girls who do not have an official handicap, the age range is from 6 to 16 years old.
“This Future Falcons Par 3 initiative has been in operation for a number of years,” stated Cameron Van Rooyen, the UAE National Coach based in Abu Dhabi. “We have now implemented it as one of our main EGF grass roots golf programs throughout the UAE as part of our entry level and route to the game of golf. We recently opened it up to both expats and UAE nationals. We had our inaugural Par 3 tournament at the Emirates Golf Club last month, and we are certain that support for these events will grow once the Par 3 events become more widely known.”
Each event has a maximum guide number of 60 juniors.
