From Landmark Sponsorship to Annual Tradition
Dubai Duty Free has once again demonstrated its strong support for Emirati golf by successfully hosting the 31st edition of the UAE Nationals Cup at Arabian Ranches Golf Club on Saturday, 18 April 2026.
The milestone event brought together 56 Emirati golfers and partners for an afternoon filled with competitive play, networking, and celebration at one of Dubai’s most popular golf venues.
Event Highlights and Competitive Format
Set against the scenic fairways of Arabian Ranches, the tournament featured a Texas Scramble format that encouraged teamwork and enjoyment. Participants experienced premium hospitality and a vibrant, social atmosphere that perfectly reflected Dubai Duty Free’s reputation for blending luxury with community engagement.
The event not only strengthened ties with the Emirates Golf Federation but also highlighted the brand’s ongoing commitment to growing golf participation among UAE nationals.
Winners and Standout Performances
The team of Hamdan Bin Desmal, Khalfan Al Mansoori, Hamad Al Shamsi, and Rayyan Al Maazmi claimed the overall title with an impressive score of 22 under par (Net 50).
Second place went to the team of Khalid Al Qubaisi, Aliya Al Qubaisi, and Shamma Al Hosani (19 under par Net 53), while third place was secured by Sultan Al Ali and Omar Al Shamsi (17 under par Net 55).
Special prizes were also awarded:
- Nearest the Pin (Men – Hole 7): Omar Al Shamsi
- Nearest the Pin (Ladies – Hole 2): Reema Al Heloo
- Longest Drive (Men – Hole 14): Rayyan Al Maazmi
- Longest Drive (Ladies – Hole 16): Aliya Al Qubaisi
Prize Presentation and Leadership Comments
Prizes were presented by Dubai Duty Free Managing Director Ramesh Cidambi, joined by Sinead El Sibai (Senior Vice President – Marketing), Zayed Al Shebli (Senior Vice President – Asset Protection), and Akram Skaik, Director General of the Emirates Golf Federation. Winners received trophies and Dubai Duty Free gift cards.
