The new JA Lake View five-star hotel with 348 rooms and suites is “on track” to open in Dubai in September this year, the company announced on Sunday.
First announced in December with 352 rooms and suites, the hotel will open as the third property within the 128-acre JA The Resort in Jebel Ali, joining the JA Beach Hotel and the all-suite JA Palm Tree Court.
In terms of F&B, the hotel will feature Kinara, a new Indian restaurant by Michelin Star chef Vikas Khanna; 81, a buffet restaurant serving breakfast and dinner with live cooking stations; Republik a gastropub with Friday brunches and a live DJ; as well as Bibé, a rooftop lounge.
Amenities include three outdoor swimming pools and five meeting rooms.
William Harley-Fleming, cluster general manager of JA The Resort, said: “The work is well underway, with the project team in the interior fit out stage, ready for our September 2019 opening. With the additional of JA Lake View Hotel, we can now offer three different styles of accommodation to our guests, as well as even more restaurants, lounges and leisure facilities. The new property will spearhead the repositioning of the resort.”
The wider JA The Resort – set along 800-metres of private beach – will now offer 795 suites and rooms between the three hotels.
The property also features features seven swimming pools, 23 restaurants and bars, a 9-hole 35 championship standard golf course, putting and pitching greens and Leadbetter Golf Academy Dubai, four tennis courts and a tennis academy, squash courts, badminton courts, beach volleyball facilities, horse riding stables, a mini-golf course, and a Watercooled Watersports Centre with water-skiing, windsurfing, jet-skiing, banana boats, catamarans and laser sailboats.
It also has a private 85-berth full service marina offering fishing trips, boat trips and sea plane flights.
The resort also has six shooting ranges, a Spa, a bio-garden, a crèche, a kids’ club, teens’ club and babysitting service.
